About

A curated map of a fast-moving field

Micro- and nanoplastics research has moved quickly from academic laboratories into commercial technology. Sensors, filtration systems, analytical services and data tools are being developed by startups and SMEs across Europe and beyond — but the landscape is scattered across press releases, project pages and funding databases.

Trace Plastic brings that commercial landscape together in one place. Every profile is reviewed against public sources rather than scraped, and the focus is deliberately narrow: companies whose technology addresses detection, monitoring, separation, capture, remediation or data analysis of micro- and nanoplastics.

Alongside the public directory, I work directly with organizations that need deeper technical research — technology landscapes, method benchmarking and custom scientific analysis.
